You best believe if 50 non-white people turned up dead as a result of a mass shooting, the Biden administration, Democrats, the liberal media, and everyone in between would seize on the opportunity and immediately escalate their push to ban guns.
However, given the fact these are illegal immigrants who died as a result of Biden’s open border policies, the White House is scrambling to distance itself from the tragedy, bypassing any accountability for the tragic loss of life.
Human traffickers have been incentivized to continue their smuggling operations thanks to Biden’s open border policies. Realizing over one million illegal aliens have crossed the border since Biden took office, smugglers are seizing on this opportunity to expand their business and rake in cash.
Border Agents late Monday night discovered a tractor-trailer in South Texas containing 50 dead migrants after human traffickers successfully crossed the US-Mexico border.
Conservatives, especially in Texas, were outraged by the loss of life, with Gov. Greg Abbott saying, “These deaths are on Biden.”
And he’s right!
However, the White House doesn’t agree. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre commented on the tragedy before boarding Air Force One. She claimed the White House is “closely monitoring the absolutely horrific and heartbreaking reports out of San Antonio” before saying “the border is closed.”
How can she say the US-Mexico border is closed in good conscious when data from the Biden administration clearly proves it isn’t?
She further pledged to continue the administration’s work to disrupt “human smuggling networks” that “exploit and endanger human lives to make a profit” before defending the administration’s decision to loosen pandemic-era border protections.

Biden himself vowed to crack down on human smuggling in a statement released later on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, illegal aliens continue to pour across the border at an alarming rate.
In addition to halting the construction of Trump’s border wall, the Biden administration has also severely cut down on Border Agents. Additionally, illegal immigrants caught at the border are subsequently released into the U.S. with only a notice to appear in immigration court.
How the White House can claim the “border is closed” is beyond comprehension.
