A mass shooting incident was prevented earlier this week. Rico Marley entered a Publix grocery in Atlanta, Georgia, clad in body armor and packing 6 firearms. The incident ultimately ended without any shots fired.
This is a picture I obtained of the 6 guns, and ammo, found on the 22 year old suspect at the Atlantic Station Publix today. Police have said he was found with 5 but there appears to be one more handgun. Intentions of the suspect are still unknown. https://t.co/gMZBvbwWT8 pic.twitter.com/kQG9VgSfOx

A wary customer notified store management after he saw the heavily clad man enter a bathroom. He said that he was “startled” and was reminded of the recent shooting incident in Boulder, Colorado. The customer reported that after he notified store management “It wasn’t acted upon right away.” He said that given recent events, he felt that the situation was “actually taken… more lightly than I [expected].”
Authorities have charged Marley with reckless conduct, possession of weapons during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, criminal attempt to commit a felony, and other charges.
Marley is set to undergo an evaluation of his mental health at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
The black man’s peaceful arrest flies in the face of the ‘woke’ activists narrative on social media. Earlier this week, progressives were caught preemptively claiming that the Boulder, Colorado shooter must have been white to be captured alive, though the mans ethnicity happened to be Arab.
I deleted a previous tweet about the suspect in the Boulder shooting. I made an assumption based on his being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.
