The “school reopening” plan touted by the Biden administration has been controlled by teachers unions, and the administration is rapidly running of reasons for keeping schools closed.
For instance, during his campaign, Biden initially promised to reopen schools during the first 100 days of taking office.
Today, I’m announcing key COVID-19 priorities for the first 100 days of my administration:
– Everyone wears a mask
– 100 million vaccinations
– Reopen the majority of schoolsWith these steps, we can change the course of the disease and change life in America for the better.

However, after Biden assumed power, the White House changed its tune from re-opening schools to “safely” re-opening schools, which was contingent upon Congress passing the $1.9T COVID relief bill.

In addition, Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary, has essentially undermined CDC Guidance from the CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, who explicitly stated that teachers do not need to receive vaccinations in order for schools to reopen safely.
However, Dr. Walensky, along with the CDC, were subsequently pressured to alter their official guidelines.

As a result, the entire re-opening discussion has transformed into a miscommunications quagmire, which was made even worse by Kamala Harris’s commentary during a Today Show appearance.
Now, the situation has turned into a communications nightmare and Vice President Harris made it worse during an interview with the Today Show Wednesday morning.

As of last week, the White House does not have any imminent plans to reopen high schools.
