Ron DeSantis held back nothing in a recent interview, where he skewered the most brazenly anti-American elements of the Biden administration.
Unfortunately for America, more than one anti-American element is present, starting with the continued closure of schools and the White House’s “bold and ambitious” plan to reopen schools … one day per week.
If that’s “bold and ambitious,” then Florida must have achieved a veritably interstellar level of success, as DeSantis wryly noted.
“If you look right now, you hear this debate about schools, Florida schools have been open the whole school year and every parent in Florida has the right to send their child to in-person instruction, every worker has the right to work and earn a living.” [Source: The Blaze]
Excellent point! Furthermore, DeSantis doesn’t shift his position, unlike Dr. Fauci, who apparently changes his “guidance” according to whatever his presumed puppet-masters order him to say.
After all, a mere three months ago, Dr. Fauci surprisingly offered somewhat reasonable guidance.
“Close the bars and keep the schools open … If you look at the data, the spread among children and from children is not really very big at all, not like one would have suspected.” [Source: The Blaze]
Now, however, Dr. Fauci has changed his tune, conveniently supporting the $1.9T aid package in order for schools to reopen. Lovely consistency.
Speaking of consistency, DeSantis also railed against the Biden administration’s utterly inane immigration “policies,” particularly when illegal aliens are apparently given more American freedoms than Americans themselves.
“It is a huge contradiction and you can’t square wanting opening borders for illegal aliens, but then also restricting U.S. citizens from basically traveling around the country as they see fit and I think the American people see the hypocrisy in that.” [Source: The Blaze]
In other words, within Biden’s America, freedom is more likely to be granted by simply traveling to Mexico and crossing the border by land. All it takes is an apparent devotion to the Democrat Party for life, and free healthcare, free college, heck, probably even free room and board are available, all on the American taxpayer’s dime.
In addition, DeSantis also torched Biden’s curious lack of concern for COVID-carrying migrants, which is especially pronounced in light of the threats to lock down interstate travel.
“Of course they’re not being screened for COVID at the southern border because this is all political … So he’s [Biden’s] opening the border [and] he’s letting illegals pour in. They’re not doing any COVID tests. They’re [migrants are] just coming into the communities … Yet, he wants to potentially make you take a test if you just get on an airplane and fly from one American city to the next.”

Exactly. After all, COVID has proven to be quite brilliant at simultaneously abolishing personal liberty and national security, a rather painful combination for Americans to swallow, not to mention the Founding Fathers, if they were to be somehow privy to what’s going on in the nation they fiercely fought for just a few centuries ago.
You know, the same Founding Fathers whose statues are being target for destruction now.
DeSantis also reminded audiences again of why Florida remains so popular for so many, ironically including beleaguered New Yorkers who even more ironically continue to vote in favor of the very policies they fled in the first place (which explains that distinctive blue speck on an otherwise red state).
“We focus on lifting people up … People view Florida as a place where they can follow their dreams.” [Source: The Blaze]
Apparently, “dreams” for some ultra-wealthy liberals mean taking all Florida’s benefits while continuing to trumpet the Democrat horn.
Fortunately, tax refugees from New York and other equally leftist states, obnoxious as they can admittedly be, are fairly small in number, given the asinine income levels they manage to command in some of the nation’s most corrupt, violent cities.
The number of illegal immigrants capable of entering the nation and voting Democrat, however …
Well, that potential number is either far too high to speculate, or far too frightening to contemplate.
